A Brief History:

John Thomson, born and raised in Orange County, California, tagged along from job site to job site, watching his father build homes. John entered the construction industry when he was 16 years of age and has been involved since. He joined the Marine Corps, operating as a Division Reconnaissance Marine and was honorably discharged after four years, wherein he pursued his BA in English with an emphasis in creative writing From the University of Colorado at Boulder. His Career began when relocated to San Diego, California and created So Cal Construction & Design in 2002 with the goal to emphasize in custom home building and remodeling. 

John and his wife Katie currently live in Point Loma, San Diego with their daughter Seidel Elizabeth born May 12 2010.
